I built this site because I spent over twenty years looking for it, and it didn't exist. If you've found yourself here, chances are you already know how hard it is to find information that's honest, clear, and doesn't leave you feeling more lost than when you started. That's the bar this site is trying to clear, and hearing from you is part of how it gets there.
So who do I want to hear from? Honestly, whoever you are in this. Clinicians and therapists who see the gap between what the research says and what treatment actually delivers. Frontline workers holding the system together. People in recovery who found something that worked, or paid the steep price for something that didn't. Loved ones watching from the outside, unsure what to do. And especially those who have no idea where to start. If that's you, you don't need a polished question. "I don't know where to begin" is a perfectly good message.
If you've come across resources that belong here, I want to know about them. Treatment pathways, funding options, trauma therapy programs, treatment centres, Alberta-specific supports, websites, apps, books, or self-guided tools that people have found genuinely useful. Good resources don't have to be local to be worth including.
I'm also interested in lived experience inside the system: what helped, what didn't, where things broke down, and where they worked. That kind of detail matters far more than theory. It's what keeps this grounded in reality rather than in how we wish things worked.
As new research emerges and my own understanding deepens, the site will be updated to reflect it. The goal isn't optimism for its own sake. It's to reflect what the science actually shows, because that's where real hope comes from.
I can't guarantee a quick response and may not be able to reply to every message, but I will read what comes in. If any of this resonates or you have something worth sharing, use the form below. One thing worth noting: this isn't a channel for crisis support. If you're in immediate distress, please click here or reach out to a local service or someone you trust.
A note on affiliate and link requests: I do not accept affiliate links, sponsored placements, paid listings, or link exchanges intended to promote a business or improve its SEO. Nothing on this site is monetized, and no resource is included because someone paid for visibility.
I am always open to hearing from recovery organizations, treatment providers, therapists, peer-support workers, and others who believe their work may genuinely help the people who visit this site. Resources are considered based on usefulness, accessibility, and fit, not commercial benefit.
If your message is primarily a sales pitch, backlink request, or SEO proposal, this is not the right inbox.
I may not be able to reply to every message, but I will read what comes in and respond when I can.
